Out of character?

I’m feeling kinda 3 today, so I’m going to pull that whirling dervish thing he does so well and see if I can get somewhere without throwing up or passing out.

I’ve become a fan of Heroes, and have watched Seasons 1 to 3 on DVD. It took me a while to catch on, at first it didn’t really do anything for me. The moment it caught my attention is when they started time travel and I had to start thinking to keep up. The little links between precogs and Isaac’s comics and Hiro’s antics and changing the future totally works for me.

Like for example, the African guy in season 3, he always paints the future, even when the future changes. But he can tell when it’s changed, and he cancels the changed paintings. Plus wouldn’t I just love to know what he’s got inside those headphones – aural meth?

And the Takezo Kensei storyline. Hiro created the legend when he went back in time and made Adam fulfil his destiny. The Adam he found was a drunk. So if Hiro hadn’t shown up, would Adam eventually have snapped out of his idiot phase and done all the great Kensei deeds?

Well, yes, coz eventually he’d have realised that he had healing powers, and he’d have found some way to use them. And the dragon in the story. In the Hiro-ltered version, the dragon is Hiro. Because Hiro teaches Adam all about being a great warrior, then ‘cuts out his heart’ by loving Yakeo.

In that moment he ‘kills’ Kensei and turns him into the vengeful Adam Munroe who eventually forms the company and kills off ‘everything that Hiro holds dear’. Starting with his dad. Ooooh duh, explains why Kensei’s sign is the hero tattoo thingie for the company, coz Adam is the founder.

[and isn’t it interesting that both Hiro and Peter were in Gilmore girls? I think Dean would have made a great Peter. Except maybe for the evil part, coz that’d just be creepy]

And of course when Hiro gets thrown into the time warp he could have landed anywhere, so why did he land in Takezo’s time? If he had landed some place else, would the Takeso Kensei legend still have come to pass. Oh, yes it would, coz Hiro interfered by ‘saving’ the fake Kensei. If he hadn’t done that, there’d be no butterfly effect, Adam wouldn’t have gone drunk, and everything would be kawa.

Kwanza, ama Kaito is Sylar’s father? **scratching head**

And then, in the flashbacks, all the heroes discovered their power six months ago, and they somehow trigger each other. Eden triggers Matt by making him eat doughnuts, Hiro triggers the waitress girl by going back in time. Micah triggers Monica by landing in their house. Possibly the first eclipse triggered all their powers to begin with?

Speaking of Micah, there’s Nikki and there’s Tracy. Now, there’s a third triplet somewhere. Or was the triplet Jessica, the one the dad apparently killed in the accident? Or was there never a Jessica? Possibly Barbara. Tracy and Barbara’s dad gave them up to the company to manipulate, that’s what he was apologizing for? And that’s why he was so sure Nikki wasn’t Jessica, coz Jessica didn’t exist.

And then there’s the butterfly angle. That one is just the bomb. Future Hiro goes back in time to save Claire, so that future Noah starts a witness protection programme with Claire as the first. Peter makes Claire stay home, which lets Sylar get to her, and she realizes she’s immortal. So if Sylar hadn’t got to her, she wouldn’t know she’s ‘special’ so she wouldn’t have turned police and killed Peter? Or is that Peter was killed for being too powerful?

Nathan always ends up in the White House, coz that’s what his mother wanted. So I’m guessing that whatever else changes, she always conspires to have her way – even if Nathan is really Sylar in disguise. of course, it’s possible she knew that since Sylar is her son too… Power of a mum – stronger than the space-time continuum, no?

When Daphne uses Molly to find Peter, is she good or bad? And why is she so scared of him? Because he’s gone Sylar and doesn’t have her speed…maybe. But he went Sylar after Sylar turned good, so since it hadn’t happened yet, that can’t be it. Unless Peter has absorbed the Haitian, so Daphne freaks Peter coz Peter can make her slow, she can’t outrun him.

And then, Adam gave Nathan a transfusion. What for, when Peter is an empath, and had Claire’s healing powers, so he could have transfused Nathan himself? Duh!!

Alafu, Peter stops Adam from spreading the virus, then he takes Present Peter to the future, where now everyone can fly. Because the world didn’t die out, and the power formula is on sale. so if everybody has superpowers over the counter, then Claire still wants to kill Peter because why?

Oh yeah duh, coz she blames him for letting Sylar get to her and destroy her humanity and make her realise she’s ‘special’. At first she wants to get the bad guys to hurt Sylar, so it makes sense that she’d want to hurt Peter for letting Sylar hurt her…

Why Ando would kill Hiro I still don’t know. Probably because he wouldn’t let Hiro have the formula that gave people powers. Since in that scene Ando had a red-elle power.

Man, I am so tired!! Thinking in circles is exhausting!! I don’t know how you do it!
